This Comedian’s College Survival Trick Will Have You Rolling with Laughter
This comedian’s college survival trick will have you rolling with laughter. He figured out what he thought was the perfect solution to getting around all that required reading. Watch the short, but hysterical clip to hear and learn all about his tactic for outsmarting the professors.
An education is something that is never truly complete. Regardless of how many degrees or certificates someone may or may not have, they will still not know all that there is to know. There will always be more facts, figures and knowledge available. It’s impossible to know everything, and anyone who says otherwise is either badly mistaken or incredibly naïve.
Most people, after graduating from high school, will go on to further their education in some way. For many people, that means college. Now, as those who have attended college for any amount of time know, college is a big step from high school. The amount of work and time required to be successful in the classroom increases significantly. College courses will be challenging and, to be honest, that’s the way it should be because when something is difficult, that’s when there’s growth.
However, in a clip posted on YouTube, one comedian, Dennis Regan, realized he would have to up his game. However, he did not want to do all the assigned reading, but he didn’t want the professors to know he didn’t do the work. So, instead, he came up with a hilarious, foolproof way to trick the professors into thinking he might have done the reading.
“So, in college, I needed a different strategy, a different tactic, because I didn’t want to study or do the assignments or anything like that,” he said. So, I’d come up with smart questions that would make me sound smart to the teachers, you know?”
He then gives an example of a question he might have asked in class. His long, drawn-out question involves him saying nearly every six- or seven-syllable word in existence. It may not have made any sense, but it sounded good.
Proverbs 18:15 “The heart of the man of good sense gets knowledge; the ear of the wise is searching for knowledge.”
