Toddler’s Sweet Response to Mom’s Tears Is Pure Love

A mother’s love for her child is arguably the strongest, purest form we’ll ever see on Earth. There isn’t anything that most mothers and fathers, for that matter, would not do for their children. Many parents, if it were possible, would do whatever they could to keep their children from experiencing any pain. Is there anything worse as a parent than seeing your child suffering or in pain and knowing that there isn’t anything you can do to alleviate it?

An adorable clip posted on social media shows that children likely feel a similar way about their parents. They don’t want to see their mother or father in pain, either. They want to do what they can to make their parents feel better and ease their suffering and pain.

In the video, the mother is in tears. The text in the center of the screen mentions that she is “having a hard night.” Sitting right next to the woman is her 14-month-old son. Seconds into the clip, he notices that his mom is in tears and is immediately concerned. He doesn’t take his eyes off her.

The child, trying to comfort her, leans into his mother and gives her the sweetest, most adorable hug. He may not understand what she is going through or even be able to articulate what he’s feeling at that moment, but he knows she is upset. He does what he can to try and make her feel better.
