Jonathan Roumie's Powerful Words About God Leave Young Man Deeply Moved

Jonathan Roumie’s powerful words about God left one young man deeply moved. “The Chosen” actor brought the guy to the verge of tears with a few simple but moving words about God calling and reaching out to him. Watch the short but moving clip to see the powerful moment between the two men.

God is constantly working and moving in the lives of His followers. But God does not stop there. That is not all that He does. He is also a gentle and loving shepherd concerned about the lost sheep. His love is too great for Him to give up on those still living in their sin and shame.

He constantly pleads and prods, hoping we turn away from our old, sinful ways and accept His love and forgiveness. In the Bible’s last book, Revelation, it’s written that God stands at the door and knocks, and if anyone who hears that knocking opens the door, He will come in.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Jonathan shares that what one man is dealing with spiritually is actually the Lord working on his heart and mind. The man in the clip is unsure if there is one God or many, but watching “The Chosen” has allowed him to see and experience Jesus for the first time.

In response, Jonathan tells the young man that God is trying to reach him. The Lord is standing outside, knocking on the door of this young man's heart, hoping that He will be let in.

“God is calling you,” Jonathan tells the man. “Yeah. He wants to know you on a deeper level, and so that tug that you’re feeling, that’s Christ trying to get to know you. That’s what that is.”

The clip ends with the young man getting emotional and Jonathan telling him he will remember him in prayer.

What a powerful and moving clip!

John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, I am the true and living way: no one comes to the Father but by me.”
