This Couple's Prayer Takes a Hilarious Turn

This couple’s prayer takes a hilarious and unexpected turn. The man and woman pray to the Lord before eating and, in doing so, draw attention to each other’s weaknesses and failures. Watch this short but hilarious clip to hear how this couple’s hysterical prayer highlighted a few sore areas and touchy subjects in their relationship.

Prayer is something that every Christian should be doing consistently. It’s an essential component of every Christian’s daily walk. How else will you build and strengthen a relationship with Him without communication? Prayer is an opportunity to talk to the Lord, offer Him praise, and make your concerns, worries and requests known as well.

Many people pray to the Lord when they are in desperate need or have a pressing issue in their hearts. That’s what we are supposed to do; the Bible says as much. But we are also supposed to offer up prayers of praise and thanksgiving. One of the times to do just that is before consuming a meal. It’s an opportunity to be thankful that He provided the food we are about to eat and to consider where it ultimately comes from.

In a clip posted on YouTube, one couple did just that right before eating dinner. However, they did a little more than that. Each took turns praying, and as they did, areas of the other person’s failures and weaknesses were mentioned.

Seconds into the prayer, the man mentions how he is thankful for the food before him and the hands that made it, even if it was a little late. Soon enough, he mentions in prayer how Amazon boxes continually appear at the door and her poor driving habits.

But she is not without some complaints as well. She mentions how God provides grace and provision, especially when her husband’s salary is a little lacking. She also adds that her husband has skipped going to the gym lately.

Everyone has weaknesses, and they have clearly identified each other’s areas that need improvement.

Philippians 4:6 “Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God.”
