Praise Team Delivers Moving Cover of ‘This Is Our God’

A praise and worship team delivered a moving cover of “This is Our God.” The immensely gifted group of musicians combined their talents for a powerful performance of the beloved tune about our faithful and loving God. Watch the short but beautiful clip of the praise and worship team performing a song near and dear to the hearts of many, “This is Our God.”

Human beings have a tendency to screw up anything and everything. Take any situation, and people will find a way to make it worse, to introduce something that mars and destroys it. Remember, it was initially because of Adam and Eve’s arrogance and disobedience in the Garden of Eden that freed and unleashed sin into the world, and we’ve been paying the price ever since.

Despite humankind’s propensity for destruction, disobedience, arrogance and downright evil, God showed love and mercy for us by sending His Son, Jesus Christ. Christ went to the cross where He suffered and died, shedding His blood and taking our place so that we could be forgiven. He did that for you and me.

In a clip posted on YouTube, the praise and worship team from First Baptist Clarksville in Clarksville, Tennessee, performs the Phil Wickham hit “This is Our God,” singing about the grace, mercy and greatness of the God we serve. This is a cover that you’ll want to listen to repeatedly. The words are so uplifting and encouraging. We do not have to live in fear and shame any longer. God has made a way through His Son, Jesus Christ. This is the God we serve!

“Remember those giants we called death and grave?
They were like mountains that stood in our way
But He came, and He died, and He rose
Those giants are dead now”

If those words don’t excite you about our victory in Jesus Christ, then I’m not sure anything will.

Deuteronomy 20:4 “For the Lord your God goes with you, fighting for you to give you salvation from those who are against you.”
