Tim Hawkins Hilariously Reveals the Worst Church for Baptism

Tim Hawkins hilariously reveals the worst church for baptism. The popular Christian comedian has named the church where no one wants to be baptized. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear the church he names, which will have you laughing while shaking your head in total agreement.

Baptism is an important sacrament in the church. It's essential to every Christian's faith journey as they grow closer to and deepen in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Baptism is an outward expression of what has already taken place internally. It's intended to show others that they have been forgiven of their sins, left behind their old life and ways, and have chosen to follow Jesus Christ.

Of course, every Christian understands what happens when someone is baptized. While standing in a container or body of water, the person receiving the baptism is dunked down underneath the water's surface, remaining there for one or two seconds. They are then quickly brought back up, which is meant to signify that they are now a new creation in Christ, with their sins and old ways being washed away.

Baptism is wonderful, and many churches conduct baptisms fairly regularly. However, in a clip posted on social media, Tim mentions the one kind of church no one would want to get baptized in, and he is 100 percent correct.

"I saw this road sign and all it said was 'Slow church ahead,'" he said. "There's no punctuation or anything. What are we supposed to do? Supposed to drive slow because there's a church ahead or they're just real upfront?  No dude, there's a slow church coming up here. Don't go on Sunday, it's going to take you all day, bro."

He then acts out members of this church in slow motion, which is hilarious. Later in the clip, he demonstrates what would happen if someone were to be baptized in this church.

"I would not want to get baptized in a slow church," he said. "Wade in the Water! Wade in the Water! Stay down!"

Mark 16:16 "He who has faith and is given baptism will get salvation; but he who has no faith will be judged."
