‘Little Angels’ Trailer Promises Heart, Hope and Big Wins
The “Little Angels” trailer promises heart, hope and big wins. The film about a college football coach who suddenly finds himself coaching a 12-year-old girls’ soccer team will be one for the entire family. Watch the short clip to get a quick look at the film “Little Angels.”
Just because a thought enters your mind doesn’t necessarily mean you must vocalize it. We all know people who, for whatever reason, do not seem to grasp or understand that idea. There’s something to be said for keeping your mouth shut at times. Refraining from adding one’s thoughts and opinions is often the best route.
However, Dean Cain, whose character Jake Rogers in “Little Angels,” feels it necessary to express his thoughts on many subjects, including soccer and female athletes. Because he insists on commenting on subjects that don’t impact him, he is suspended from his position as a Division I college football coach.
In the clip posted on YouTube, Jake is ordered to perform 50 hours of community service, which ironically includes coaching a 12-year-old girls’ soccer team. After meeting his team members, it quickly becomes clear to Jake and everyone else that this group needs work. It will be Jake's greatest coaching performance if he can turn these young ladies into a winning team.
Like in every other sports movie, the coach will teach his players and gain knowledge and wisdom as well. He will try to teach these girls and himself the game of soccer, and in the process, he will likely learn some life lessons himself. For example, near the end of the trailer, one person informs Jake that life is not all about winning.
“Little Angels” looks to be a fun-filled family film with plenty of laughs and heart.
Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
