One mom’s unexpected response to her husband’s warning has everyone laughing. No one, including the man who issued the stern ultimatum, likely saw her hysterical move coming. Watch the short but hilarious clip to hear what the husband said, and then the unforeseen way his wife responded.

Children are, without a doubt, a blessing, a gift from the Lord above. What could be better than being parents and watching your little one grow, learn and explore? Any fit and suitable parent would wholeheartedly agree and answer in unison and without hesitation that there is absolutely nothing better than being a mother or a father.

While everyone can agree that children are wonderful and enhance our lives in every way imaginable, there are other areas in which we can also agree. Children are full of energy, often running here and there, exploring, and getting into anything and everything. That energy level can be hard to keep up with for anyone, especially for parents who have to operate that way 24/7. In those cases, sleep is all they want, but at that point, a nap remains forever elusive.

In a clip posted on social media, one mother was not going to miss the opportunity to get some much-needed shut-eye. When she saw the chance to lie down uninterrupted by her children, she did what she had to and did so in the most hilarious and unexpected way possible.

The short, 11-second video begins with the young family of five lounging together on the couch. Dad holds the youngest while the two older, but still very young children sit to his left, while Mom stretches out on the couch. She appears to be battling sleep, struggling to keep her eyes open.

Seconds into the clip, the father makes a statement, obviously annoyed by his children’s messy ways.

“The next person to make a mess is going straight to bed,” Dad says to everyone on the couch.

Immediately after this announcement, the mother grabs a case of toys, dumps them on the floor and runs off to bed. She was only playing by and took advantage of the rules that were laid out, right?
