This Great-Grandma’s Brutally Honest Opinion on a Baby Name Is Comedy Gold

This great-grandma gave her brutally honest opinion on a baby’s name, and it is comedy gold. The elderly woman did not hold back when asked how she felt about the youngster’s name. Watch the short but hilarious clip to hear what the newborn’s name is, and also to listen to the woman’s thoughts on it.

Honesty is always a good approach to take in life. It doesn’t matter what it is; being open and honest is the way to go. That’s because it’s nearly impossible to be around and trust someone who is going to do nothing but lie. Liars are individuals to be avoided at all costs.

While most people abhor lies and those who frequently tell them, there is a way to be honest without being mean. It’s possible to be honest with someone, but to do it in a way that doesn’t hurt their feelings or damage the relationship. Proper word choice in delicate situations is crucial. That can be the difference between a good, honest discussion and one that damages a relationship beyond repair.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a great-grandmother is captured meeting the newest addition to her family. She gently holds the youngster in her arms and then proceeds to ask the child’s mother a critical question.

“Why are you calling him Dax?” the elderly woman says.

Once the child’s mother states that was what she chose simply because they liked how it sounded, the great-grandmother had more to say on the matter.

“I don’t know,” the elderly woman says as she looks down at the child. “You got crazy parents. So, it’s going to be a wild run. Should be easy for you to spell.”

If nothing else, she was entirely frank and blunt with her thoughts and opinions on the little one’s name.

Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”
