This young man’s “compliment stand” is the cutest thing you’ll see today. The little guy was motivated by and decided to set up the unique establishment after coming across a similar idea in a children’s book. Watch the short but heartwarming clip to hear more about the child’s adorable idea.

The world is often a cold, lonely and bitterly cruel place. After just one quick look at popular social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook and X (formerly Twitter), you’ll be convinced that we have more than our fair share of hate and vindictiveness. It’s plentiful, with seemingly everyone sharing and posting cutting and hurtful comments.

What would happen if, instead of endless comments and posts where people needlessly lashed out at one another, there was somewhere, some place to pay someone a compliment? What would that look like and how would that function? A clip posted on YouTube tells the story of a young man who came up with that very idea.

In the video, 9-year-old Ethan Wargo created a stand where individuals can walk up and receive a compliment. It’s for anyone and everyone, and the little guy is not looking to cash in on his wonderfully sweet and heartwarming venture. He doesn’t even charge for his service.
The video mentions that things at the youngster’s compliment stand were initially slow. 

However, his father posted about it on social media, and things started to take off. People began rushing to hear a compliment from the kind young man, with some individuals traveling more than an hour to listen to something nice from Ethan.

So, if you’re ever in the neighborhood and in the need of a compliment, Ethan will be more than happy to supply you with one. However, hilariously, he does mention that, at times, he has found it hard to compliment people.
