Julie Andrews Has a Four-Legged Superfan and It’s the Cutest Thing Ever

Julie Andrews has a four-legged superfan, and it’s the cutest thing ever. This sweet pup clearly has a favorite when it comes to actresses, and there is no contest who the dog enjoys the most. Watch the short but heartwarming clip to see how this dog reacts whenever something featuring Julie Andrews is playing.

Hollywood, and entertainment as a whole, is a fickle industry. What is popular now likely won’t be what everyone is excited about in five minutes. Tastes and preferences change at a moment’s notice, and so the industry quickly reacts to those updates in order to stay relevant and profitable.

That inconsistent, unpredictable nature of the entertainment industry not only extends to things like movies and music, but also to the people who produce and star in those works. How often do you see an actor or actress who is in seemingly everything for a couple of years, and then quickly disappears? This happens all the time. So, those who are able to stick around and enjoy a decades-long career are few and far between. A clip posted on YouTube shows an animal who is a big fan of one of those entertainment legends: Julie Andrews.

Hilariously, Tessa loves Julie Andrews. Tessa’s owner, who narrates the video, says that the adorable pup will immediately stop what it’s doing whenever it hears Julie Andrews. The animal, who, of course, is a big fan of “The Sound of Music,” is spotted sitting as close to the television screen as it possibly can while that beloved film plays.

The dog reacts similarly whenever the original Mary Poppins, starring Julie Andrews as the magical British nanny, is on. It immediately focuses all its attention on the screen.

But the funniest and most heartwarming moment of the entire clip is when a cardboard cutout of the legendary Hollywood actress is placed outside the door, making the animal believe that she has arrived for a visit. It loses its mind.

How or why did the dog become such a superfan of Julie Andrews? I have no idea, but it’s still adorable.

Genesis 1:21 “And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”
