A concerned citizen broke out into a dance during a town meeting, and it’s hilarious. He demonstrated his fancy footwork right before it was his turn to voice his opinions about the latest happenings in his town. Watch the short but hysterical clip to see him bust a move and to hear why he decided to show off his impressive moves.

Dance is something that anyone and everyone can do. However, just because someone has the ability to do something doesn’t always mean they should. Also, dance requires a particular venue, an appropriate time and a place. Otherwise, it would just come off as strange and result in people staring, amazed and astonished at what they are witnessing.

As it turns out, one of those appropriate venues for dancing is during a town hall meeting. This came as a shock to me, too. I would have thought that dancing during a meeting when people are trying to discuss matters about the functioning of a town would not be appropriate, but that is apparently not the case. A hilarious clip posted on YouTube shows a man busting a move right before voicing his concerns.

The clip begins with Will Thilly standing near the lectern as someone tells him his time has started. But instead of getting right into what he has to say, he starts moving and grooving and continues dancing. Several people behind him take in the spectacle and somehow remain stone-faced, without reacting to what is happening.

How could you ever sit there and not immediately burst out laughing at the absurdity of a man dancing at a town hall meeting? No one even appears to smirk.

The video points out that Will showed off his moves because he saw them as a way to ease the tension and lighten the mood at these types of meetings, which can often get heated.
