Lord, Help Me Reflect, Not Regret | Your Nightly Prayer

As the seasons of life change—graduations, career shifts, relationship transitions—it’s natural to look back. But sometimes, that backward glance turns into regret that weighs down the soul. In tonight’s prayer and devotional, we're reminded that God does not call us to live in shame, but to walk in freedom, healing, and forward-looking reflection.

Scripture tells us in Romans 8:1, “There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Regret chains us to what we cannot change. But Jesus redeems even our worst missteps, offering not just forgiveness but transformation. Through Christ, our past doesn’t define us—our Savior does.

Let this moment of reflection lead to growth, not shame. Lay down guilt. Pick up grace. God is not finished with your story.

Heavenly Father,
