Whenever we think about dogs and cats, very specific actions and behaviors are typically associated with them. Felines are usually considered more reserved animals, choosing to hang back and take everything in before making their move. They prefer knowing and seeing what’s going on in an environment, so they decide to perch and rest in higher locations. It gives them the best vantage point.

On the other hand, dogs are generally much more spontaneous, spur-of-the-moment creatures. They act without much of a plan or forethought. Dogs could be described as doers, while cats are planners and much more methodical in their approach. Every pet owner – past and present – will likely agree wholeheartedly with that assessment about the differences between felines and canines.

However, a short and hysterical video turns those preconceived thoughts and ideas on their heads. The video shows a large, full-grown dog acting very much like a cat. The canine even hangs out in a location typically reserved for cats.

The clip quickly shows a good-sized cat tree. However, everyone will immediately find something odd about this particular item, which is usually used by felines as the name “cat tree” indicates. A dog has found its way atop the cat tree, sitting as if its current placement is perfectly normal. Nothing out of the ordinary seems to be what the dog is thinking as it stares straight ahead.

As hilarious as seeing a dog in a cat tree is, without a doubt, the funniest part of the clip is the look on the black cat’s face. The feline stares at its canine friend, almost as if it recognizes that this isn’t normal.
