Worship Team’s Fantastic Cover of CeCe Winans’ ‘That’s My King’

A praise and worship team delivered a fantastic cover of CeCe Winans’ hit song “That’s My King.” This excellent rendition of the popular gospel tune, praising and worshipping the Lord, is one that you’ll want to listen to repeatedly. Check out the video to listen to and watch their dazzling and awe-inspiring performance.

Without Christ’s love, forgiveness and mercy, none of us would stand a chance. We’d all be facing an eternity lost and separated from Him. As the Bible states, we are all sinners who have fallen short of the glory of God.

But even in our sin and brokenness, Christ willingly went to the cross to endure an immense amount of pain and died on our behalf. He took our place, and in doing so, He bridged the gap, the rupture that sin had caused between God and man. He did and went through all of that wholly undeserving pain and punishment for no other reason than because of His immense, inexplicable love for us.

In a video on YouTube, the members of the First Baptist Clarksville in Clarksville, Tennessee, in a wonderfully energetic, powerful and uplifting performance, sing about Christ’s love, mercy and grace – none of which we deserve or could ever earn.

It’s a tune and a rendition bound to cause you to get emotional. The song’s lyrics, which are beautifully written, offer and give Him praise and worship.

“Who we talkin’ about?

That’s my King

We declare the glory

Give Him all the honor”

I'm not sure anything will if that song doesn’t get you fired up and excited. Christ died, giving Himself up for you and me so that we could be forgiven and spend eternity with Him. He is worthy of all our praise and worship. He did what we could have never done for ourselves.

Romans 5:8 “But God has made clear his love to us, in that, when we were still sinners, Christ gave his life for us.”
