Comedian Recalls His Wild and Funny Adventure Flying Spirit Airlines
A comedian recalled his wild and funny adventure flying Spirit Airlines. His comments and experience may have you reconsidering which airline you choose for your next trip. Watch the short clip about his hysterical but unfortunate time with Spirit Airlines.
Everyone loves vacation. Kicking back and relaxing, getting away from the real world and all its worries for a week or so, is not only enjoyable but necessary to remain sane. Vacations are an opportunity to rest and recharge. Who doesn’t love that?
The only downside to vacations and any other trip is traveling. Getting from Point A to Point B can often be a hectic and chaotic experience. While air travel is usually the most time-efficient way of getting around, it can cause significant headaches.
In a hilarious clip posted on YouTube, comedian Jeff Norris recounts his hilarious and stressful ordeal traveling across the country with Spirit Airlines. Whenever you think Jeff’s experience couldn’t get any worse or more ridiculous, it does. You’ll likely be sure to book a flight with any airline other than Spirit Airlines.
As Jeff mentions, his horrible experience started before he even set foot on the plane. He spotted a Spirit Airlines ad informing him he could fly anywhere for only $9. This had to be too good to be true.
“I says, ‘Diane, let’s book the flight.’” Jeff said. “So, we book it, and we’re talking; I go, ‘Diane, do I understand you correctly? You mean to tell me from New Jersey to Utah is only going to cost me $4.50 and then coming home is another $4.50, $9 total? ‘That’s it, I just need your credit card.’”
After giving the woman his credit card number, he learns that bringing a bag with him on the flight will cost him an extra $185.
Unfortunately for Jeff, things only got worse from that point. Once he stepped on the plane, he knew he was in for a long, uncomfortable flight.
Proverbs 17:22 “A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.”
