This bird’s funny response to a toy is pure comedy gold. The animal had quite a reaction when it encountered the gadget, which will have you doubled over, laughing and gasping for air long after the clip has ended. Check out the short but absolutely hilarious clip.

Even though some animals may look similar, they are not the same. Like humans, animals are not simply replicas or duplicates of each other. Every person who has ever had the privilege of having a pet knows and understands that no two animals are exactly 100 percent the same.

Two dogs or cats from the same litter will not respond to the same set of circumstances in the same environment in the same way. Likewise, birds also have personalities of their own. 

Although I have never had a bird as a pet, I can still understand and appreciate that each would exhibit subtle differences, helping to distinguish and set itself apart from other birds.

A short but hysterical clip posted on social media makes this case perfectly clear. In the five-second video, a beautiful, brightly green-and yellow-colored parrot is standing on what appears to be the edge of a kitchen counter.

The bird is simply minding its own business, trying to go about its day, when that is unfortunately interrupted. Coming right toward the parrot is a toy. But it’s not just any toy—it’s one that moves and even sounds like a fellow bird.

The incoming toy bird catches the full attention of the parrot. However, the parrot does not appear to be intimated by the approaching toy. The parrot doesn’t even move backward or even flinch. Instead, the parrot waits for the intruder to continue its approach. It does so until it gets close enough so the parrot can literally pick up the toy with its mouth and then, with one fluid motion, fling it off the counter onto the floor below.

That parrot was not having anything to do with that toy bird. That counter is the parrot’s territory. If any bird is trying to encroach on that bird’s territory, it's best to beware.
