This video captured Rhonda with perhaps her mother or grandmother in a hospital room. You have to wonder if this pair were volunteering for the day to bring comfort, love, and worship for patients in need of some encouraging words. The song they chose was one that reminds us we are not alone as they sang ‘The Family of God’ which was written in 1970 by Bill and Gloria Gaither.

‘You will notice we say “brother and sister” ’round here,

it’s because we’re a family and these are so near;

when one has a heartache, we all share the tears,

and rejoice in each victory in this family so dear.’

Their voices, weathered by age yet filled with the joy of the Lord, echoed through the room.
