A mother explained the hilarious reason for banning all math at home.

In school, everyone had subjects they excelled in and those they struggled with, which required more time and effort to understand and grasp. Some people may have been great in social studies and history but needed help with science and Spanish. Or you might have been a whiz in chemistry, but English class or physical education were always challenging for you.

That makes perfect sense. No two people are exactly alike. We’re all different, blessed with unique skills, talents and interests. Personally, math was the subject in school that always gave me fits, and I’m sure I’m not alone, either. Well, one mother has taken a heroic and hilarious stand against the subject, altogether banning its practice from her home.

In the short, uproarious video, the mother explains her hysterical reason for telling her children they are no longer allowed to do math in her house. The father was putting his daughter to bed when he learned from her that they are no longer allowed to do math in the house. Of course, he needed more information on this new rule and asked his wife if she knew anything about it.

Mom says she implemented the new policy after giving her children chocolate chips for dessert. She says dessert “got way out of hand.” When handing out the chips, she did not count them before giving them to her children. Unfortunately for the mom, the children did, and they discovered differences in the number of chocolate chips each child received.

“It was like the fifth night in a row where they just, like, scurry to count all the chocolate chips,” she said. “And obviously, I didn’t give them the same amount of chocolate chips, so I said, ‘No more math.’ And I stand by it.”

She further explains the situation, to which many parents can probably relate.

“Every time I give them something, it’s like a race to see who got 21 and who got 22.”

The couple cracks up throughout the video, and by the end, the husband comes around and voices his support for his wife’s new policy.
