This golden retriever melts hearts with his sweet and heartwarming act of love. 

Dogs have earned the title of ‘man’s best friend’ for so many heartwarming reasons, and their loyalty and unconditional love make them unlike any other companion. They’re always there for us no matter the situation. They give us their love and comfort when we need it most. And they love to provide hours of entertainment too. The best part of our day is when we arrive home, and our dogs greet us with their tail wagging and endless affection to lift our spirits. They become a family member in so many ways. 

And that’s what this couple discovered after the birth of their son Frankie. They couldn’t figure out why extra dog toys were showing up in Frankie’s playpen. When they realized what was happening, it melted their hearts in the sweetest way possible. Beau, their golden retriever, was the best big brother anyone could dream of. 

In an utterly heartwarming video, the parents caught their lovable dog carefully dropping his own toys into the playpen for his baby brother. Sometimes, he’d hop on the couch and gently drop a stuffie toy from above into the playpen. Other times, he would tenderly place a toy right next to his little brother’s hands as if he were waiting to see if he liked the new toy he offered. 

When they caught the dog in action, it made them realize why they kept finding Beau’s toys in the nursery before Frankie had been born. Beau knew his little brother was coming, and he wanted to show how much he cared and how excited he was. He was sharing his toys as a way to say, “I love you.” As the parents reflected on all those little moments, it made them tear up as they realized the pair would have a special bond as Frankie grew up. 

Just when you think you couldn’t possibly love dogs more, moments like this remind us of how selfless and affectionate they truly are. Beau’s simple act of love showed us how deeply our furry friends connect with us, and the bond between this pup and a little boy is sure to be a lifelong one.
