Couple’s Inspiring ‘He Brought Me Out' Cover

With their inspiring cover of ‘He Brought Me Out,’ Dan and Amanda created a beautiful moment of worship as sunlight poured through the windows, casting a gentle glow across their music room. Seated together, Dan at the piano and Amanda with her guitar, the couple transformed their home into a space of reverence and gratitude.

The song ‘He Brought Me Out’ is an old hymn written in 1898 by Henry J Zelly. It is a timeless, beautiful song that draws people into worship with its words. Hymns like these are often rooted in personal stories of faith, loss, hope, and redemption. They carry a richness to the song that modern music sometimes lacks. They remind us of the enduring truths of the Gospel and why we follow the Lord. That’s what I love about Amanda and Dan. They take old hymns and breathe new life into them.

Sitting close together, the couple began to play with Dan’s fingers moving gently over the piano keys. His voice was filled with sincere gratitude as he sang alongside his wife. Amanda strummed the guitar and soon joined in, adding more depth to the music with her voice. When their voices met, they both carried a harmony that was full of thankfulness and strength.

‘He brought me out of the miry clay,

He set my feet on the Rock to stay;

He puts a song in my soul today,

A song of praise, hallelujah!’

As they moved to the end of the song, Dan and Amanda’s voices rose together as if they were lifting up the Gospel message and serving it to the hearts of those who would listen to their music as they sang, “He puts a song in my soul today. A song of praise, hallelujah.”

When the last of the notes faded they both smiled at each other as if they both knew they had worshipped the Lord through the song to the best of their abilities. Talk about a job well down! We hope you enjoyed this song as much as Dan and Amanda loved performing it.

Lamentations 3:22-23  “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”
