Cats are unique creatures. They can be some of the most lovable and loyal beings you’ll ever meet. Also, they can be some of the most stubborn and hard-headed. Tell a cat to do something, and you can bet they’ll do the opposite of what you just said. They will only do what they want to do when they feel like doing it and cannot be persuaded otherwise.

In addition to being incredibly strong-willed, felines tend to provide plenty of free entertainment. Their odd and unexpected antics will have you laughing, doubled over and gasping for air. Their moves will also typically confuse and confound. But their inexplicable move had to have made sense to them, right?

A clip posted on social media perfectly captures and displays one feline's hilarious and mystifying behavior. In the short 20-second video, a beautiful, full-grown adult cat sits atop a picnic table. Everything seems fine until, seconds into the video, the cat spots a leaf.

The leaf proves elusive as every time the cat moves, the leaf does so as well. It turns out that the leaf is attached to the cat’s tail. Nevertheless, the cat is determined to capture that fallen foliage. Soon enough, the cat is spinning around in a circle at an impressively high rate of speed.

At one point during its spinning maneuver, the leaf flies off its tail. The cat has won this round, right? Well, not so quick.

After it has stopped going around in circles, the cat takes a couple of steps and falls hard off the table. Say what you want about the cat’s methods, but they were successful. It did remove the leaf, after all.
