Candace Cameron Bure Charms in 'A Christmas Less Traveled'

Going out to the movies is such a treat, particularly during the holidays, but your best bet may be checking out Candace Cameron Bure’s charming new movie, ‘A Christmas Less Traveled,’ from the comfort of your own home. The streaming platform Great American Pure Flix brings viewers a new holiday story, sure to offer a little romance, a bit of mystery, and a lot of festive feels!

Beautiful and talented Candace Cameron Bure plays Desi, owner of “The Dine and Dash” diner. Desi is desperate for cash to cover a mountain of unpaid bills and is left with no choice but to sell her most prized and valuable asset—a mint condition, cherry red 1964 Ford F-100 given to her by her father. Before letting it go, she visits the vintage truck once more.

Inside the truck, Desi discovers a cassette tape left by her dad, who is now deceased. The recorded message sends her on a trek to places filled with her family’s most meaningful moments, and along for the ride is a handsome man named Greyson.

Canadian actor Eric Johnson, perhaps best and most recently known for his role as a corrupt sheriff on ‘Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin,’ plays Greyson—a character altogether different from the violent lawman. In this film, Johnson (as Greyson) has found himself in a car crisis with somewhere to be. In exchange for a nice fee, Desi agrees to get Greyson to his destination so that he can “close the most important deal” of his life.

The road trip will reveal more about both Desi and Greyson than they could have imagined, and we get to take the ride with them. It’s rich with holiday settings and gorgeous scenery, but ‘A Christmas Less Traveled’ is sure to evoke smiles, laughter, and holiday joy while teaching a few lessons about achieving dreams and cherishing family as well. ‘A Christmas Less Traveled’ is available to stream starting on November 14.

“When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, ‘Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.’” Luke 2:15
