A sweet little boy helped escort his mother down the aisle at her wedding. Weddings are beautiful and often emotional ceremonies where precious, lifelong memories are created. This child inadvertently created a moment that his mother will remember for the rest of her life.

Everyone desires that their wedding day be perfect, with everything going off without a hitch. It’s a day that has been meticulously, carefully and painstakingly planned, often down to the smallest detail. But as we all know, perfection is not a possibility when human beings are involved. Perfection may be the goal, but it’s not realistic.

However, beauty often comes from imperfections, including something going wrong on a couple’s big day. A lot of the time, our most precious, cherished memories happen when they weren’t planned. Perhaps they came about because something did not go according to plan. That’s what happened during one couple’s wedding, resulting in a beautiful, tear-jerking moment.

The short clip posted on YouTube begins with the groom and a young man, dressed to the nines, standing and eagerly awaiting the bride's entrance. Finally, the big moment arrives, and the bride starts to make her walk down the aisle.

But then something unplanned and beautiful happens!

The 2-year-old little boy recognizes his mother in her wedding dress at the other end of the aisle. He calls out to her, “Hey, mom!” But that isn’t all. He jogs down the aisle, takes her hand and helps escort her to the awaiting groom.

It may have been unplanned, and the little guy was supposed to stay at the front. However, his genuine and heartfelt reaction to seeing his mother is enough to bring even the most stoic, unemotional person to tears. And because the 2-year-old didn’t do everything according to the plan, mom got to walk down the aisle with her little boy holding her hand.
