This dog’s unexpected way of getting up the stairs will have you laughing out loud. The canine took full advantage of a much easier, more efficient way of getting from Point A to Point B. Everyone loves animals. Even those who don’t currently have a pet still most likely possess a soft spot in their heart for those cute, furry, four-legged critters. Honestly, who doesn’t love dogs, cats, rabbits and most other members of the animal community? Even if you don’t love them, how could you not at least like and appreciate them?

Regardless of how much you adore those creatures, there is one that all pet owners know and understand about animals. Most of them are incredibly and remarkably lazy. Nine times out of 10, they’ll lie down and nap instead of getting up to play or go for a walk.  

A hysterical clip posted on social media perfectly captures an animal’s laziness in action or inaction, as would best describe it. The short, 28-second video is shot from what appears to be across the street and looks into a house. Seconds into the video, a dog’s head appears from below the window.

As viewers continue to watch the video, more and more of the canine appears on camera. Then, it quickly becomes clear what the animal is doing. Instead of walking up the flight of stairs in the clip, the animal is riding a stair lift.

What a lazy but ingenious move on the pup’s part. Why put forth energy walking up the stairs when there is literally a machine that will do it for you? However, I guess human beings use elevators quite frequently. So, I guess we can’t fault the dog too much.
