Officer’s Hilarious Attempt to Dodge a Call from Dispatch
An officer hilariously tried to dodge a call from dispatch. It was a call about a scene that most of the population would want to avoid at all costs. Watch the short but hysterical clip to hear about the scene the officer was called to and see her uproarious efforts to avoid going to it.
Police officers and all law enforcement members are regularly referred to as heroes, and rightfully so. Those men and women always go to the scene of a disaster or an emergency when everyone else is running in the other direction. They are generally the first people to arrive whenever something horrible happens, and most have likely witnessed some rather gruesome and tragic things in their careers.
It would make perfect sense, and most people would not blame them if they did not want to head to the scene of a fatal accident. No one would, but it’s their job, and they always go above and beyond the call of duty, no matter the situation or circumstance.
While all officers will go to whatever scene they are called to, a hilarious clip on social media captured one officer who was more than a little reluctant about one scene. Snakes are a big fear for most people, and they will avoid them at all costs. Those creatures must also be a massive fear for the female officer in the video.
In the video's opening moments, the dispatcher informs the officer about a situation involving a massive snake.
“We got a call about a 10-foot snake. Can you take that?” the woman on the radio asks the officer.
“Nope,” is the understandable and hilarious reply from the officer.
Despite the officer’s answer, the dispatcher tries again.
“We got a call about a 10-foot snake over on Dorsey Street. Can you take that?” the dispatcher says.
This time, the officer makes noise into her radio after a few moments, trying to simulate static as if she didn’t receive or hear the question.
However, the dispatcher is not buying it.
“1014, I know what you’re doing,” the woman on the radio says.
Despite her initial reluctance, the officer accepts the assignment and clarifies that she’s on her way to the snake.
What an absolutely hilarious and honest moment from an officer on duty.
