Dad’s Take on Parenting Will Have You Laughing and Crying

One dad’s hilarious and heartwarming take on parenting will have you laughing and crying. As a father, he shares some hysterical and touching reasons why he believes his “life is over.” Watch this short and funny video, which will sneak up on you and have you shedding a tear or two.

Being a parent is one of, if not the best, and biggest blessings in life. While being a massive blessing, being a parent comes with huge responsibilities. Children, once they make their arrival, will forever change your life. Those changes will take place in nearly every conceivable area and will always be for the positive.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Dude Dad has some advice and words of warning for people about to become parents. He states that your life will gradually end after those children enter the world. He adds that months will pass, and you’ll realize you haven’t seen any of your friends.
You’ll be relegated to the sidelines, where you’ll be forced to watch and wait upon your kiddos.

Despite all the changes after becoming a parent, he mentioned noticing something on a family skiing trip. He remembered watching his daughter struggling to stay upright while going down the hill the first time. But then, on the second time down the hill, he watched her improve dramatically. He says she did not fall once. With tears in his eyes, he says that watching her succeed and overcome failure was better than anything he could have done that day.

“Becoming a father is realizing that being on the sideline of life is not a bad place to be,” he said. “That their successes will outweigh your successes every single time, and seeing them succeed and seeing them live life is better than living it yourself.”

What an absolutely funny and sweet take on being a father!

Ephesians 6:4 “And, you fathers, do not make your children angry: but give them training in the teaching and fear of the Lord.”
