Nate Bargatze’s Side-Splitting Attempt at Parenting His Own Parents

Nate Bargatze hilariously attempted to parent his own parents. The popular comedian was put in the unenviable position of correcting his parents, hoping to show them the error of their recent ways. Listen to the short but hysterical clip to hear what Nate was forced to do when he learned about his parents’ disappointing actions.

All parents want what is best for their children. However, sometimes, what is best for kids involves punishment and correction. Parents are responsible for protecting and providing for their children, but they are also to teach them the difference between right and wrong. To straighten out a wrong behavior or action can and often does require a punishment or, at the very least, a stern lecture.

As it turns out, parents may eventually require correction from their children. We can all stray away from the straight and narrow at times, and so, I guess getting all the help we can get can’t hurt, right?

In a clip posted on YouTube, Nate mentions what caused him to take drastic and hilarious corrective measures against his parents. You also won’t believe who the bad influence was, causing his parents to act out in troubling and disappointing ways.

“And she [my sister] ruined them,” he said. “That’s the thing that bothers me the most. She’s a bad influence on them. She got a tattoo. Then, my dad went and got a tattoo. Yeah, I guess he figured no one’s in charge anymore. I recently found out my mom got a tattoo.”

What happened next really disappointed Nate; he knew it was time to take action.

“They tried to hide that one from me, but I found out, and I was livid when I found this out,” he said. “I mean, I sat them all down together, and I said, ‘I don’t think y’all should be hanging out anymore. How ‘bout that?’ Pardon my language, but I think it stinks what’s going on. I think it stinks. Look, my parents are good people; they just got caught up in the wrong crowd.”

All you can do is try, and then your parents must make their own decisions.

Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”
