‘I've been alone with you inside my mind
And in my dreams, I've kissed your lips a thousand times
I sometimes see you pass outside my door
Hello, is it me you're looking for?’

“In my entire career, I have never had anyone take ‘Hello’ and preach on ‘Hello.’ That was really, really special,” shared Lionel Richie. He later goes on to say: “To me, right now you’re top 20 as far as I feel in terms of your own lane. God bless you, man.”

The other judges, Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood, also shared how impressed they were with Victor’s audition.

“I’m really excited to see your interpretations of different songs through different rounds. So sing all these genres. Have fun with your talent. Because it is really good,” said Luke Bryan.
