A pizza delivery turned into a wild adventure when an alligator showed up. What should have been a simple food delivery was anything but when the massive, frightening green and scaly creature arrived, considerably complicating things. Watch the short but eye-popping video of a delivery woman’s encounter with an alligator.

The United States of America is a diverse country, which includes 50 states spanning thousands of miles, various landscapes and climates. In the US, there is essentially something for everyone. Alaska is where you’re meant to be if you enjoy winter and the cold. If warmer temperatures and high humidity are your thing, you’ll find the Southwest and the South more than accommodating.

However, if you prefer living on the edge and never knowing what you’ll encounter, there is also a state for that. Florida is a land where crazy, the extraordinary and the unexpected seem to live and rule. You don’t know what you’ll get and experience in Florida from one day to the next.

In a clip posted on YouTube, a woman delivering a pizza encounters something she likely never imagined in her wildest dreams. A massive, 8-foot alligator is at the house she is delivering to, waiting to greet her and possibly take and enjoy the delicious pizza. In the video, the woman mentions that she’s from New York and has never experienced anything like that.

Nothing says, “Welcome to Florida,” like an alligator casually strolling around a neighborhood.

Later in the video, a police officer on the scene finishes the pizza delivery, giving the delicious pie to the older woman and taking her money. However, before the transaction is complete, the officer continually tells the woman to get back in her house because of the large gator. She is much more concerned about her food than becoming food for the alligator.
