A helpful dog’s sweet and hilarious efforts to help a truck driver was caught on camera.

Animals are fascinating creatures put on Earth by the same God who placed the sun, moon and stars in their spots. They seemingly have endless ways to keep us surprised and entertained. Anyone with a cat or dog knows this statement to be entirely accurate.

You can never be too sure what to expect when a dog or a cat is involved. One minute, your canine could be lying motionless, enjoying a nap on the floor, and the next, they are doing something crazy, off-the-wall and unexpected. Most of the time, all you can do is laugh and shake your head at their antics.

A clip posted on social media shows one canine’s unpredictable and hysterical, but at the same time, helpful actions. The short video shows several men helping to push a truck that had recently broken down.

However, the three men pushing the vehicle weren’t the only ones offering their assistance. A dog stood on its hind legs and, with its front legs on the truck, pushed the broken truck.

Of course, those three gentlemen likely did most of the heavy lifting, but that sweet and thoughtful pup probably gave them a little extra to help them get the job done.

This video is yet another example of how canines are some of the best creatures God ever put on Earth. Who doesn’t love dogs? Can you imagine a cat offering to help? Not at all. Felines are more likely to be a hindrance than a positive in such a situation. 

Given that same situation, a cat would likely see the three guys pushing the truck as the perfect opportunity and place to sleep. In a matter of seconds, a cat would be sound asleep on the road, likely right in the middle of their path.
