Patricia Heaton's Hilarious Reason For Taking An Uber
Actress Patricia Heaton has the most hilarious reason ever for taking an Uber.
Modern technology is fantastic, and what is likely even more unbelievable is that it’s constantly improving. Technology has reached the point where we can book a flight, watch an entire movie and schedule groceries for delivery to our house with a few swift clicks on our phones. It’s nearly impossible to predict what else we might be able to do with our phones in just a couple of years.
Another modern convenience afforded to us by incredible technological improvements has been the invention of ridesharing. Popular apps like Lyft and Uber allow people to arrange for someone to pick them up from anywhere and take them to a desired location.
Everybody Loves Raymond and The Middle actress Patricia Heaton filmed herself taking an Uber ride and posted the clip to social media. In the short video, Patricia hilariously explained that she was using the ridesharing service because she and her husband had recently purchased a new car, and they’ve been experiencing some issues with it.
“I’m in an Uber right now because this new car that we got, the horn just keeps going off on its own,” she said.
As she continued, Patricia stated that this was leading to some problems on the road.
“And so, at first, I thought people were honking at me because the horn would go off, and I would look around and say, ‘Who’s that? Why they honking at me?’” she said.
That’s when she realized it wasn’t other people; they were responding to her and her car, which would honk sporadically.
“People kept looking at me and giving me dirty looks, ‘Like, Hey, what are you doing? What’s wrong?’” Patricia said.
But the horn isn’t the only issue with her new vehicle. Patricia said that the car’s trunk kept opening unexpectedly.
As much as technology has progressed and continues to improve, there will always be technological problems and issues, like a vehicle’s horn honking at unsuspecting drivers.
Job 8:21 “The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.”
