One singer earned a standing ovation for his breathtaking audition on Ireland's Got Talent. The young man’s outstanding and mesmerizing vocal performance wowed the show’s judges and the studio audience, causing them to stand to their feet. Watch the clip to see and hear the awe-inspiring audition.
There are some incredibly talented people in this world. Sadly, many of those gifted people, for whatever reason, remain undiscovered. They’ve either chosen to keep their talents hidden or haven’t gotten the chance to let their light shine for the world to see.
Luckily, programs like America’s Got Talent, American Idol and The Voice give previously undiscovered people a chance. They have the opportunity to wow the show’s judges, the studio audience and those watching at home with their musical talent.
Now, while those aforementioned shows are giving individuals in the United States an opportunity to shine, similar programs are doing the same for people who reside in other countries. In a clip posted on YouTube, a young man, 31-year-old Steve Barry, appeared on Ireland’s Got Talent and wowed everyone with his performance of a tune from the beloved musical West Side Story.
During Steve’s back-and-forth with the judges, everyone learns that this audition is somewhat of a second chance for him. As is made clear early in his audition, Steve intends to make the most of his time on stage.
Throughout his performance, Steve demonstrates the strength of his voice. He reaches for, hits, and holds a series of high notes for an extended period. Even if you’re not a musical or musical theater fan, it’s easy to recognize and admit that Steve’s audition is fantastic. The young man has an incredible amount of talent.
The judges and the studio audience respond to Steve’s stunning musical display by rising to their feet and giving him a well-deserved round of applause.
All four judges complimented and praised him. Unsurprisingly, when it was time for them to render their decision, they gave him four yes votes.
Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
