A German Shepherd’s fearful reaction to a sweet, tiny kitten will leave you in stitches. For whatever reason, the massive dog is obviously afraid of the tiny and adorable cat. Watch the short clip to see how the canine reacts whenever the miniature cat approaches it.

When it comes to most things in life, bigger, taller and larger creatures usually evoke a sense of fear in others. That’s likely because people and animals with larger frames and physiques are seen as simply physically more intimidating and imposing. They take up more space and, therefore, will likely use it to get their way, typically using fear.

That’s at least how conventional thinking goes, for the most part. But, as we know, there are exceptions to every rule, even this one.

A short, 20-second clip posted on social media shows an absolutely hilarious exception to this rule. A good-sized German Shepherd, who tips the scales at 85 pounds, has seemingly met its match. The canine wants nothing to do with the massive, imposing creature near it – a one-pound kitten.

At the beginning of the video, the kitten is placed near the dog, but instead of responding with ferociousness and imposing its will on the tiny creature, the canine shies away from the cat. Instead, the dog turns away and buries its face in the safety of its owner’s arms. The canine is too afraid to even look at the kitten. It just wants the cat to go away. 

The kitten doesn't appear bothered by the large canine's presence. Instead of having a healthy and utterly understandable fear of the dog, the kitten walks away from it and even turns around to see how the dog is reacting.

It just shows that sometimes, even the most minor things can be scary and incredibly hilarious.
