Harvey Korman Loses It Over Tim Conway’s Side-Splitting Dog Routine

Harvey Korman loses it over Tim Conway’s side-splitting dog routine. He could not keep it together as Tim started to act out in a very familiar, canine-like manner. Watch this iconic and unforgettable skit from The Carol Burnett Show in which Harvey cannot keep a straight face.

The Carol Burnett Show is, without question, one of the best and most beloved programs in television history. It featured a stellar, all-star cast of comedic legends in some of the zaniest, off-the-wall skits you’ve ever seen. It’s a show that has withstood the test of time, as it still makes viewers laugh decades after the program ended.

It's a show that produced dozens of memorable skits. However, the ones that stand out the most are likely those that feature Tim and Harvey together. Often, seconds into the skit, Harvey would show early signs that he would not make it through the sketch without bursting into laughter. Typically, it was only a matter of time before Harvey broke character and burst into laughter when he and Tim were together.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Tim and Harvey are again paired together in a skit. This time, Tim and Carol play a married couple whose vet has come over to see their sick pup. The simple solution for the dog’s ailment is a quick, harmless shot. However, instead of hitting the dog with the needle, Tim gets stuck with the antidote.

Tim’s boss, played by Harvey, and his wife are scheduled to arrive minutes later. It should be a lovely, quiet evening at home between the two couples as Tim and Harvey discuss business. Of course, nothing is ever as simple as that. Tim begins acting like a dog, much to the amusement of the studio audience and Harvey, who cannot contain his laughter.

While Harvey often burst into laughter whenever paired with Tim, he likely did much better than anyone else would have done. Tim was an absolute comedic genius who could get audiences rolling with laughter with one line or look.

Proverbs 17:22 “A glad heart makes a healthy body, but a crushed spirit makes the bones dry.”
