Young Voices Shine in Beautiful Easter Song ‘This Is Jesus’
A choir of young voices shines in the beautiful Easter song “This is Jesus.” The youngsters demonstrate their vocal talents with their lovely rendition of a tune about the death, resurrection and love of Jesus Christ. Watch this short but powerful clip to see and hear the choir of young singers use their musical talents to bring glory and honor to His name.
Human beings are sinners; all of us have fallen well short of the glory of God. As the Bible says, the wages of sin is death, which we will experience at one time or another. However, thanks to the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, that does not have to be a spiritual death as well.
Jesus Christ willingly went to the cross. He took our place on that cursed tree, enduring an agonizing, excruciatingly painful and humiliating death. But that was not the end. He won victory over death, sin and the grave with His death and resurrection. He bridged the gap, the rupture sin caused between God and man. And He did all of that because He thought you and I were worth it.
In a clip posted on YouTube, a choir of talented young performers sings “This is Jesus” about His loving, world-changing and life-giving sacrifice on the cross. While the young singers' vocal performances are noteworthy, the song’s emotional and powerful lyrics help make it one to remember.
“Imagine what it would have been
To see Him when He rose again
To touch His wounded hands and feet
And know He died for you and me”
In addition to singing about His death and resurrection, the children also mention that one day, Christ will return to Earth again. At that time, they perform, every tongue will confess, and every knee will bow with the understanding and knowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord.
What a lovely song, beautifully performed by a group of incredibly talented young singers.
John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, I am the true and living way: no one comes to the Father but by me.”
