Siblings Deliver a Stunning Rendition of ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’

Three siblings deliver a stunning rendition of “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” The incredibly gifted trio absolutely knocked their cover of the John Denver classic out of the park. Watch this short but powerful and awe-inspiring performance of “Take Me Home, Country Roads.”

There can be some very strong, polarizing thoughts and opinions when it comes to covering and performing classic songs. There will no doubt be a good number of people who believe some tunes should not be covered or altered by anyone. Classics are called classics for a reason, right? Leave them alone and let them be. They were already perfected, and trying to do anything else to them is unwarranted and flat-out wrong.

On the other hand, there will be those who believe that everything can be updated and improved, even beloved, well-known songs. That sounds good until you hear the “new and improved” version, which ruins and destroys the old one.

But it all depends on the musicians attempting the cover when it comes to covering classic songs. Can they do the song justice? Do they have the talent to pull it off? In a clip posted on YouTube, Life in 3D covers “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” A few moments into the song, it’s clear that these youngsters have created one of the best covers of this song you’ll ever hear. This is a stunning rendition. One that the late singer-songwriter John Denver would likely wholeheartedly approve of.

With every video they post to YouTube, these siblings have shown time and again that they have been immensely blessed with a ton of musical talent. Even those who aren’t a fan of the original song or even this kind of music, in general, would have to agree that this is a jaw-dropping cover that should be listened to repeatedly.

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
