Good, trustworthy babysitters will always be in high demand. As much as parents love their children, it’s nearly impossible to be with them 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Mom and Dad must make a living, which means working and being away from home for eight to 10 hours a day. So, babysitters become a must-have, a necessity.

However, just because someone has the ability and time to look after children for a few hours doesn’t necessarily mean parents should immediately drop off their kids without a second thought. No, every good parent will do their due diligence on any babysitter. You want to have a good grasp and understanding of that person’s background and character. These are children we’re talking about, after all.

Having said all that, you could have trusted Betty White with your kids, right? I mean, she was a Golden Girl. A clip posted on YouTube shows that she might not have been the best choice to watch your child.

The clip begins with Betty sitting in a comfortable chair and speaking to the camera.

“Some of my friends complain about having to babysit, but I just love it,” she said.

We then learn why Betty enjoyed babysitting so much.

A young man carrying a paint can and brush enters the house and asks if he can go home yet.

“As soon as you get that third coat on the exterior,” Betty answers him.

A young woman then arrives and serves Betty a drink.

“Here ya are, great grandma,” the child says as Betty grabs the drink and takes a sip.

“Needs a touch more happy juice,” Betty says as she places the drink back on the tray in the child’s hands.
