Tim Conway as Elderly Pit Crew Member Has Harvey Korman Cracking Up

Tim Conway, as an elderly pit crew member, has Harvey Korman cracking up. These two comedic legends bring the laughs in a classic, memorable sketch from The Carol Burnett Show. Watch this short clip to see Tim cause Harvey to burst into laughter once again.

Race car driving is a sport that requires a lot of skill, timing and precision. All those elements are necessary to compete and win in any racing, whether NASCAR, Formula 1 or something else entirely. Those drivers and teams who do not possess an immense amount of them will not last long in the sport.

Of course, considering race car driving is all about crossing the finish line before competitors, speed is of monumental importance. Yes, drivers want to and need to be quick out on the track, pushing their vehicles to reach higher and higher speeds as they attempt to pass their competition. But speed is also necessary off the track, specifically in the pit, whenever a driver must come in for a tire change, more gas or some other reason. The faster, the better.

Unfortunately for Harvey, in a clip posted on YouTube, Tim, as his beloved old man character, is a member of Harvey’s pit crew. Everything Tim does in the hysterical skit eats up valuable time. After Harvey pits, Tim approaches the speed of a snail car, which takes him a crazy amount of time. Things don't go any better once he finally gets to the vehicle.

Throughout Harvey’s extended pit stop, he cannot keep a straight face, continually shielding his face from the audience as he laughs at Tim’s antics. To be fair, keeping a straight face while watching Tim do anything on The Carol Burnett Show was and still is impossible.

What an absolutely hilarious, iconic sketch featuring the talents of Tim Conway and Harvey Korman.
