Bride’s Emotional Vow Reading Leaves Groom and Wedding Guests in Tears

One bride’s emotional vow reading left her groom and their wedding guests in tears.

Marriage is a big step and commitment for every couple. During the lovely wedding ceremony, the bride and groom promise to stay with one another for the rest of their lives. It doesn’t matter the circumstance or situation – good, bad or indifferent – they agree to remain by each other’s side.

While a wedding and a marriage are about making and keeping promises to one another, they are also about doing things to show the other person how much you care and love them. There are an endless number of ways to show your significant other love. It doesn’t matter what it is as long as your act shows that you did it for them and considered their thoughts and feelings.

A simple gesture or act could mean the world to your significant other. A heartwarming, tear-jerking act captured how one woman used her wedding vows to show how much she cares for and loves her husband-to-be. But it wasn’t so much what she said, but how she said them that had the groom and their wedding guests bawling.

While standing at a microphone and reading from a small booklet, the bride surprised everyone at the wedding, including the groom, by speaking in Armenian. Seconds after she started speaking in Armenian, it was too much for the groom. Overcome with emotion, he immediately turns away from the camera.

She begins her vows by saying, “I promise to learn Armenian because I know how important it is to you.”

When the groom turns back around to face the bride, he is on the verge of tears, eyes red and his lip quivering at the woman’s surprising and beautiful act.

The camera also catches several guests wiping their eyes, who were also moved by the bride’s loving gesture.

She ends her moving vows by promising to remain by his side through life’s highs and lows, even if that means going to “the place where the donkey dies.” It’s unclear what that means, but it gets a big laugh.

Genesis 2:24 “Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh.”
