Danny Gokey became a household name when he participated in season eight of ‘American Idol,’ but that’s not what we love him for. We adore his uplifting, Gospel-centered music, which brings a breath of fresh air to the airwaves. 

He recently released his fifth album which includes the song, ‘Sound Of Heaven.’ The song is one you can’t help but feel like everything is going to be all right and today is going to be a great day.

When he was asked about the main message of the song, Danny said, “When we think of heaven, it’s going to be a very diverse place. The scriptures say every nation, every tribe, every tongue will be around the throne. Sound of Heaven encapsulates all the diverse and different sides of me. We have praise, worship, Christian contemporary, Latin, and Afro beats. There’s something for everybody on this record.”
