Young Girl Spots Snake on Porch and Her Reaction Is Both Hilarious and Perfectly Relatable

A young girl spotted a snake on the front porch; her instant reaction is hilarious, perfectly relatable and understandable.

Everyone has something—possibly multiple things—that frightens them. Some individuals may avoid heights for fear of falling and severely injuring themselves. Others might have a bit of claustrophobia and don't like being in areas they perceive to be too enclosed and tight. Some individuals may not enjoy airplane travel and would rather stay on the ground.

Whatever it may be, we all have that one thing we avoid like the plague. If we were to encounter that specific thing, adrenaline would start coursing through us, and our body would have an immediate and involuntary response. A hilarious clip posted on social media shows how one young lady reacted when she came across a creepy, crawling creature.

In the video's opening moments, viewers can hear the youngster running along, making her way to the front door. About halfway through the video, she finally appears on screen. However, as she approaches the door, she spots and nearly steps on a small snake slithering along the ground.

Immediately after spotting the snake, she starts screaming and reverses direction. Instead of entering the house, she turns around and runs as fast as possible away from the house, but most importantly, away from the snake. She does this so fast that it's hard to believe that there are no trails of smoke left behind her, much like in a cartoon.

However, while her reaction is pretty hilarious, it's also entirely understandable. Many people have a healthy fear of snakes (me included) and would have reacted in much the same way. It may be fun to laugh at how she high-tailed it in the other direction, but you likely would have done the same thing!

Genesis 1:21 "And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good."
