What A Friend We Have in Jesus

Christ stays closer than a brother. He died for our sins and now calls us His friends. If we would but trust Him, run to Him, cling to Him, first, as our earthly friends are but flesh and cannot understand the work He wishes to do in our lives. He bore on the cross, our grief, sin and loss. Could we but spend a time with Him to become more like Him?
