I wrote this song in 1999 in a series of songs inspired by my reading of the bible at the time. Now, at the time, I wouldn't have called them blatantly Christian. but, I've come to recognize that there are a few songs of mine that have come from some other place, some other well much deeper than the place that I write songs.. Some other lights.. a lot of my songs are about the struggles that we face in the real world but with the ever-present ray of light at the end.. actually most of my songs are like that.. I'm not here to explain how or why this song is for God.. it just is. I just had the urge to send it out. Maybe you'll get something out of it. Thanks. Jared.
