How many of us can relate to the struggles we face with our own sin? I am sure all of us can. The artist in this song certainly expresses this frustration to truth, yet dares to question how God can relate to us who never sins. This song reminds me of the struggle Job faced in the Old Testament. After all he went through he dared as the question God, "why?" God answered him in an amazing way and Job's response is similar to the response the artist gives at the end of this song.



Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know

Job 42:3



We can pretend to know why things happen they way they do and we can even come up with what we believe to be good reasons why things happen (bad or good). However, what we do know that God is Almighty over us and He has promised in the "big picture" as Paul explains.



And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God

We are going to face difficult times. We are going to go through hard times. We are going to feel pain. But remember, just as this song expresses, who endures before us?
