24 Hours in the Life of a Sailor
Ever wonder how a Sailor spends his 24 hours? It is a delicate balance between God, country and family. I keep myself extremely busy with serving God through ministry and excelling at my duty. Honor courage and commitment are more than just Navy values. They are Godly, family values too. I am an instructor at IT A-school, helping shape our future sailors. I have two wonderful little girls and a wonderful wife, and they support me in everything I do. I also volunteer for numerous activities both at church and on base. I am Corry Station Choir Director, member of Navy Day ball as well as POS committee. I also mentor for the Pensacola Boys Base for troubled teens. I teach a youth Sunday school, and play in my church's worship band. As the New Year approached I will be taking over the worship band for Sunday service on base as well. I am truly blessed.
Today's Devotional
A Prayer for Safe Travels - Your Daily Prayer - April 17
God knows all things. He knows our fears. He knows our doubts and the mind-numbing reel of thoughts that continue on a loop as we stand in line at security. The Bible promises that with Jesus, we can fight against fear and put our trust in Him.
