Went to the 17th annual Autumn at Oz Festival at the old Theme Park that originally opened in 1970, the weather was perfect the characters were fun, it was well decorated and well organized, had a great time, loved to watch the children enjoying themselves, met a pretty "witch" on the yellow brick road along with her little girl dressed as Dorothy and they were first-timers and were having a good time, I remember in 1971 that summer traveling in the mountains kept hearing about the Land of Oz on top on the mountain and it seemed a very mysterious place, of course I was a lot younger but my parents didn't share the mystery and never took me...
