She Talks To Angels
This is the only video that I have posted to this date that does not include my own pictures. I have harvested these from the internet and only chose the best ones that I was able to download.
I wanted to capture a hopeless horror that the streets hold; a hopelessness that has taken hold of the women in this video as well as women all around the world.
Though the theme of this video tends to point to the results of drug use, we also see the hopelessness that many homeless women have as a result of not having a home. As much as 25% of homeless women are homeless because they have fled domestic violence. Often times these women who have fled situations such as this fall into drug use and pros%##@ution because the feel they have no where else to go.
As you watch, keep in mind that each of these women were at one time, like what is pictured in the beginning of this video-someone's little girl.
Tim Keller has an incredible book called "Ministries of Mercy" that helps one to think rightly in regards to situations such as this.
