This message from Luke 12:13-21 comes from Sunday, August 1, 2010. We encounter the elephant in the room that is stewardship - that very important topic we all know we need to consider, but we are too uncomfortable to talk about it. Stewardship isn't just about money; it's about all that we have and all that we are. It's what God expects from us as faithful followers. Stewardship is a lifestyle, not a once-a-year plea to fund the church's budget. If we are not faithful stewards of all God's gifts all the time, the church's budget won't need funding because the church will cease to exist.
