The Samaritan woman

When Jesus met the Samaritan woman at Jacobs well, she stopped thirsting for more material things. Jesus gave her living water and spiritually she had everything that she would ever want in life. The same is true for all of us. When we let Jesus come into our lives and give us the water of life, we too stop thirsting for more and internally are satisfied with what we have - and we nver thirst again for any more.

The story of Jesus meeting the Samaritan woman is a beautiful story also of forgiveness, and that Jesus knows every little thing that has happened in our lives. Even when our lives have been touched by tragedy and sin, Jesus forgives us and welcomes us into his flock.
